"Forgotten Fighters"
Many civilian contractors who
went to work in
Iraq are returning home with
physical and
psychological scars.
But their companies are refusing
insurance
compensation.
CBS-Armen Keteyian reports.

"Shadow Army" In Iraq
Tens of thousands of civilians
deployed in Iraq provide logistical
support for the troops, but face
grave danger as they transport
supplies around the country.
Armen Keteyian has more details.
In Iraq, there is no safe place, no wire to
hide behind.

Mr. Armstong was an American Contractor "Engineer" who
was beheaded by Insurgent, who didn't work in logistical
support for our military but was an American
Engineer/Contractor.  Not all contractors are in support of our
military,  Many contractors like Sam Walker who worked on a
military camp are though, which some call "behind the wire"
saw first hand what dangers lurked in a mess hall one day
while eating lunch, everyone around him died.  Understanding
that no matter where you are in Iraq you are a target for
insurgents weather you work on a heavily guarded base or on
the road driving. The wire is a joke! Don't be fooled.
