The Defense Base Act provides for Attorneys fees for the both the insurance company and the claimant.
You do not have to pay for your attorney except in very rare cases.
Under the War Hazards Act the insurance company will be reimbursed the costs of your attorney and their own plus
an administrative fee, all at the expense of the taxpayer.
You should consult with an attorney ASAP to ensure that you are being treated fairly.
The insurance companies have large law firms with huge resources and little conscience
Choose your lawyer carefully.
Your future, your family's future, will be in their hands.

American Contractors in Iraq,
along with our partner websites,
have never taken a dime
from any person or any organization
for our efforts or
to cover our expenses.

We do not serve as agents for any of
the attorneys listed here.

We are not compensated in any way
for listing them here.

We list them here for the benefit
of the injured contractor and the
families
of those who have died

We do recommend the law firms
listed to the left for your DBA claims
handling.
All  firms consist of experienced
trial attorneys who will not
recommend that you settle for less
than you are due.

They will respond to your requests
in a timely manner, keep you
updated on the status of your claim,
and will serve as your advocate,
not the systems.

We refrain from listing those
we do not recommend for fear
of being sued by them.

Just because you live in Texas does
not mean your attorney has to be in
